Northview Access Road, Diamond Street and Jade Street – all in Northview 1 Subdivision – were brought back to their “good as brand new” condition after asphalting took place on April 28, 2016 (Thursday) from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Smoothness, friction and aesthetics of the said thruways were restored through structural asphalt overlaying. Asphalt overlay is one or more courses of asphaltic concrete placed over existing pavement. The process of overlaying usually includes cleaning, and application of a tack coat, followed by a leveling course.
This infrastructure project was made possible via joint efforts of: the past and present officers and directors of the Northview Homeowners’ Association, Incorporated (NHAI); the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH); 2nd District Councilor Ranulfo “Rannie” Z. Ludovica; and, Batasan Hills Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad, who personally inspected the coating process.
