Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad received a plaque of recognition from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on August 19, 2016 (Friday) at 9:00 AM at the NCRPO Headquarters, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City. The awarding ceremonies were conducted during the 115th Police Service Anniversary of NCRPO.
Batasan Hills was adjudged by NCRPO as the “Best Member for BPAT Urban” for the year 2015 among over 40 nominees. BPAT stands for Barangay Peace-keeping Action Team.
This glorious moment for Capt. Abad was witnessed by his ever-supportive family and friends, namely:
Kagawad Roberto “Bobby” B. Miras – Capt. Abad’s co-chairman for the Committee on Peace and Order where BPAT falls under;
Kgd. Charlie O. Mangune;
Kgd. Ernesto “Ernie” S. Custodio;
Kgd. Filomena “Luming” V. de Guzman – Capt. Abad’s mother-in-law;
Barangay Secretary Edwin P. Misolas; and,
Police Superintendent Osmundo V. de Guzman – Capt. Abad’s brother-in-law.
Among the exemplary actions of Batasan Hills which truly impressed NCRPO is its continuous implementation of government projects such as Oplan KaPak, Oplan Galugad and Bagansya.
It was a privilege for Capt. Abad to be awarded by no other than Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Director General Ronald “Bato” M. dela Rosa, and NCRPO acting regional director, Police Chief Superintendent Oscar D. Albayalde.
This momentous event ended shortly after noon. With overwhelming pride and prestige, the honorable barangay officials gathered together for a sumptuous lunch at Dampa sa Libis in Quezon City.
