Kagawad Filomena V. de Guzman, popularly addressed as “Nanay Luming,” launches the conduct of a Call Center Training to Customer Service Representative (CSR) wannabes on September 22, 2015 (Tuesday) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at no other than the cozy, newly-widened garage of her own house in Consti.
The 36 trainees aspire to land on jobs in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry after finishing a 100-hour course facilitated by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). TESDA is an agency under the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) responsible for managing and supervising technical education and skills development in the Philippines.
The 13-day curriculum is taking place in the following venues:
Nanay Luming’s garage – 1st to 3rd days;
Barangay Holy Spirit – 4th to 6th days; and,
a TESDA-affiliated school in Cubao – 7th to 13th days.
The participants’ computer and telephone operation skills are enhanced in Cubao.
