Livelihood Chairmen open Doors for Computer Programmers and Call Center Agents

Batasan Hills’s Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad and Kagawad Edgar “Junjun” S. Macario, Jr., chairmen of the Livelihood Committee, oriented some 73 unemployed people who signed up for Computer Programming and Call Center Training Courses on June 10, 2016 (Friday) at 9:00 AM at the barangay hall.

The Computer Programming Course, which is also called as Information Technology (IT) Training, includes modules on:

  1. Basic Computer Operation;
  2. Computer Hardware Servicing;
  3. Web Development using Hypertext Markup Language 5 (HTML5) and Cascading Style Sheet 3 (CSS3);
  4. Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Operation; and,
  5. Three-Dimensional (3D) Digital Animation.

The 100-hour Call Center Training Course, on the other hand, teaches proper pronunciation and neutral accent in English.

Both courses are offered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) through one of its many affiliated schools, the Cane Town Colleges of the Philippines, Incorporated.
