“Gamit Mo, Sagot Namin” awes Freedom Park V Residents

Each of the 200 Grade 1 pupils, residing in Freedom Park V, was gratified to accept a backpack, a plastic envelope, a pad paper, a notebook, a pencil, an eraser, a ruler, a box of crayons and a sharpener from “Gamit Mo, Sagot Namin” on May 31, 2016 (Tuesday) at 8:00 AM at the Freedom Park V Covered Court.

“Gamit Mo, Sagot Namin” is the back-to-school project of Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad, his council and the Task Force on Youth Development (TFYD) where children, who are identified by their respective Purok (Area) Leaders as belonging to indigent families, are provided with school supplies.

The simple program, which was hosted by Purok Leader Tess Nator, began with an opening prayer led by Purok Leader Esterlita “Tata” E. dela Vega.

Motivational speeches were delivered by:

Capt. Abad;

Kagawad Edgar “Junjun” S. Macario, Jr.;

Kgd. Ernesto “Ernie” S. Custodio;

Kgd. Roberto “Bobby” B. Miras;

Barangay Secretary Edwin P. Misolas; and,

Miss Charo Mangune, who represented her father, Kgd. Charlie O. Mangune.

These speakers, along with Kgd. Jhorwin D. Santos, Kgd. Filomena “Luming” V. de Guzman and the TFYD, distributed the giveaways.
