Fire Engine, Maintained Regularly

Posted on November 8, 2015 in Fire Prevention and Control, Projects by Batasan Hills Admin

The Batasan Hills Fire Brigade, headed by Purok (Area) Leader Arvin Dimzon, perform regular maintenance jobs on their fire truck to ensure help in minimizing the finances released by the office of Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad for their firefighting needs.

Apparatus checks are done on a daily basis by inspecting the materials. Minor problems found are fixed, in most cases, by the firefighters themselves.

The water tank on the engine is flushed every four months to make sure any sand or foreign matter is removed as not to damage pump impellers, ball valves, relieve valves and/or governors.

On November 8, 2015 (Sunday), at 10:00 AM, firefighters Rigor Cinco and Christian Catorce volunteer to assist Purok Leader Dimzon in an hour of tank cleaning and repair.
