Cluster 8 Indigents benefit from “Gamit Mo, Sagot Namin”

Cluster 8 Indigents benefit from “Gamit Mo, Sagot Namin”150 first graders residing in the neighborhood of the eighth cluster of Batasan Hills were pleased to receive a backpack, a plastic envelope, a pad paper, a notebook, a pencil, an eraser, a ruler, a box of crayons and a sharpener each at the Saret Covered Court on May 30, 2016 (Monday) shortly after the regular flag-raising ceremonies of the barangay employees and volunteers.

Labeled as “Gamit Mo, Sagot Namin,” this distribution of school supplies was made possible through the sponsorship of Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad, his council and the Task Force on Youth Development (TFYD).

It was remarkable that the following officials were in full force in this act of generosity: Capt. Abad; Kagawads Edgar “Junjun” S. Macario, Jhorwin D. Santos, Ernesto “Ernie” S. Custodio, Filomena “Luming” V. de Guzman and Roberto “Bobby” B. Miras; Miss Charo Mangune (on behalf of her father, Kgd. Charlie O. Mangune; and, Barangay Secretary Edwin P. Misolas.

Also visible in the event were: Liaison Officer Arlene V. Ludovica; Bgy. Administrative Assistant Adonis O. Monahan; Cluster 8 Purok (Area) Leaders, headed by Purok Leader Manuelito “Totoy Bibo” Vedes; and, Purok Leader Tess Nator who served as emcee of the brief program.
