The Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC), under the chairmanship of Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad and Kagawad Edgar “Junjun” S. Macario, Jr., touched the lives of 194 parents residing in Batasan Hills through eight separate orientations in January 2016.
BCPC is the committee in charge of planning and implementing activities on child protection at the barangay level. BCPC Secretary Erlinda B. Natavio, and other representatives such as Shara Mae R. Natavio, Merlinda “Manang” O. Luquinario, Monna Narciso, Jocelyn Pimienta, Richard Redondo, Everett “Bobeth” Tulio, Geraldine N. Antique, Sanny R. Pineda, and among others, in each of the meeting, discussed the functionalities and strategies of BCPC as well as tips on how parents can be more effective molders of their children in the latter’s formative years.
