Batasan Hills’s Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad and Kagawad Edgar “Junjun” S. Macario, Jr., chairmen of the Livelihood Committee, oriented some 73 unemployed people who signed up for Computer Programming and Call Center Training Courses on June 10, 2016 (Friday) at 9:00 AM at the barangay hall.

The Batasan Hills Council and different vendor associations signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) in regard to Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad’s annual ‘Christmas Moratorium.’ The MOA signing happened on November 12, 2015 (Thursday) at 3:00 PM at the Saret Covered Court.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon City (QC) Satellite Office, on October 28, 2015 (Wednesday) at the Saret Covered Court, oriented some 500 4Ps beneficiaries about a three-day “Maagang Pamasko Diskwento Caravan” (Early Christmas Discount) to happen in December, also, at the Saret Covered Court.
Kagawad Edgar “Junjun” S. Macario, Jr. presides the meeting of the BATODA Vendors’ Association headed by President Cipriano Inot on October 25, 2015 (Sunday) at 4:00 PM by the walkway fronting the Batasan Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (BATODA) terminal.
Seven out of the 45 mentees who graduated from call center training were hired by different business process outsourcing (BPO) companies even before they marched on October 14, 2015 (Wednesday) at 1:00 PM at the Saret Covered Court. It was previously published in a related article (see link below) that 36 enrolled in the 100-hour course facilitated by Asian Foundation for Entre-Pinoy, Incorporated, an institution accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). During the first few days of the learning process, however, nine more were permitted to enlist.
On Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad’s behalf, Barangay Administrative Assistant Adonis O. Monahan presided the meeting of 12 team leaders about the assessment of the recently implemented ‘Cash-for-Work’ program on September 28, 2015 (Monday) from 3:00 to 4:30 PM at the barangay hall.
