Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad enlists 200 residents of Batasan Hills to 2nd District Representative Winston “Winnie” T. Castelo’s “Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD)” program which launches on April 8, 2016 (Friday) at 9:00 AM at the Saret Covered Court.
TUPAD is a livelihood and cleanliness campaign in one. The unemployed but able constituents are given the opportunity to earn PhP 481.00 a day for 10 days.
Barangay Secretary Edwin P. Misolas facilitates the orientation. “Look at yourselves as beneficiaries of this program rather than as simple workers or part-timers so you can execute your task with grace. You have to freed, to the best of your abilities, the creeks in Batasan Hills from pollution by picking up and shoveling solid wastes, sweeping the cemented areas of the creeks, decontaminating water, and among others,” Bgy. Sec. Misolas says.
