BFP recognizes Batasan Hills Fire Brigade

12 members of the Batasan Hills Fire Brigade are awarded Certificates of Recognition by the Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) on September 12, 2015 (Saturday) at the Quezon City (QC) Fire District, QC Hall Compound, Diliman.

Applauded are:

1) Officer-in-charge (OIC) Arvin Dimzon;

2) Driver/Pump Operator (DPO) Ceferino “Boy” Venturina;

3) Mechanic Andy Jarilla;

4) Responder Emily S. Barbastro;

5) Recorigor “Rigor” Cinco;

6) Rodolfo “Perf” Lagahit, Jr.;

7) Rogelio Munar;

8) Edelyn Pobe;

9) Peter John “Nognog” Fernandez;

10) Christian Catorce;

11) Ramil Ventura; and,

12) Jason Besa.

BFP-NCR appreciates Batasan Hills Fire Brigade for the latter’s contribution to the BFP’s attainment of its mission and vision, for the support and assistance in providing important services to the community and for keeping QC a fire-safe community. BFP-NCR is an agency of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) responsible for implementing national policies related to firefighting and protection. It is, as well, in-charge of the administration and management of city fire and emergency services within NCR.

Superintendent Jesus P. Fernandez, District Fire Marshal and signee of the certificates, orients no less than 100 firefighters before the ceremonies. Also present are other BFP-NCR dignitaries and Mr. Aldrin Cuna, Chief-of-Staff of Mayor Herbert “Bistek” M. Bautista.
