Barangay employees ensure safety and orderliness in the conduct of an earthquake drill at the Batasan Hills National High School (BHNHS) along IBP Road on November 28, 2015 (Saturday) at 10:30 AM.

The attendants are:

  • Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.) Jose “Joe” Frias;
  • Barangay Public Safety Officers (BPSOs) and Traffic Enforcers, under the supervision of Executive Officer (Ex-O) Cleopas Gaspay; and,
  • the Batasan Hills Fire Brigade, led by Purok Leader Arvin Dimzon.

It has been previously reported (see link below) that Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad and his council encourage all schools in Batasan Hills to perform shake drills in response to the disaster preparedness thrusts of the national and city governments.

Through drills, students learn to recognize the importance of advanced planning for their school’s emergency response. Planning, reviewing, training and testing are critical components of an effective emergency response plan that can quickly return a stricken community to a normal state of affairs.
