500 senior citizens who attended the regular flag ceremonies at the Saret Covered Court on May 23, 2016 (Monday) from 7:30 to 9:00 AM were surprised by Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad of a free hygiene kit each.
Every ziplock plastic bag, containing a bottle of shampoo, a bottle of lotion, a tube of toothpaste, a toothbrush, a face towel, a shaver and a bar of soap, was purchased and repacked through the kindness of Capt. Abad and 2nd District Councilor Ranulfo “Rannie” Z. Ludovica. The sticker on each package that said “Alagang Abad” (Abad’s Care) reminded the elderly people of how important it is for them to maintain proper wellness so as to revitalize the youth in them.
Joyfully assisting in the distribution of the “Alagang Abad” hygiene kits were: Kagawads Edgar “Junjun” S. Macario, Jr., Ernesto “Ernie” S. Custodio and Roberto “Bobby” B. Miras; Barangay Secretary Edwin P. Misolas; and, all secretaries of the kagawads.
