Miras, chairmen of the Committee on Peace and Order, ensure regular conduct of “Kamustahan sa Pagbabago” (staying in touch for change) among the residents of Batasan Hills who voluntarily surrendered themselves due to personal involvement in prohibited drugs.

NCRPO awards Batasan Hills for being Most Outstanding BPAT

Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad received a plaque of recognition from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on August 19, 2016 (Friday) at 9:00 AM at the NCRPO Headquarters, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City. The awarding ceremonies were conducted during the 115th Police Service Anniversary of NCRPO.

99.5% in KAPODA, Certified Drug-Free

190 out of the 191 members of the Kalayaan Pedicab Operators and Drivers Association (KAPODA), who underwent drug screening at the Saret Covered Court on November 14, 2016 (Monday), were certified drug-free by the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) chaired by Captain John “Jojo” M. Abad and Kagawad Roberto “Bobby” B. Miras.

BDRRMC enters into MOA with the Rescue Team

Kagawad Roberto “Bobby” B. Miras, co-chairman of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (BDRRMC), made and entered into a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Batasan Hills Rescue Team on December 7, 2016 (Wednesday) at the conference room in the barangay hall.

About Batasan

Batasan Hills is a barangay of Quezon City, Philippines which contains the Batasan Hill, formerly known as Constitution Hill. On the hill is the Batasang Pambansa Complex, the legislative session hall of the House of Representatives of the Philippines.
The barangay borders the barangays of Commonwealth and Bagong Silangan to the north, Barangay Holy Spirit to the west, Barangay Matandang Balara to the south, and the town of San Mateo, Rizal to the east.
The Sandiganbayan of the Philippine government is also located there.

How to Apply for Barangay ID

Secure an ID Application Form from the Barangay Hall.

Fill out and present to the barangay staff the accomplished application form.

Provide one (1) 1x1 or 2x2 ID photo and which must:
- be taken within the last 6 months (to reflect your current appearance);
- bear a plain white or light-colored background;
- be taken in full-face view directly facing the camera; and,
- reflect you wearing a polo shirt or a blouse with collar.
Pay for the corresponding ID fee at the Cashier's Office:
- 3-day processing for only PhP 50.00
- 1-day processing for only PhP 100.00
