About Batasan


Batasan Hills is a barangay of Quezon City, Philippines which contains the Batasan Hill, formerly known as Constitution Hill. On the hill is the Batasang Pambansa Complex, the legislative session hall of the House of Representatives of the Philippines.
The barangay borders the barangays of Commonwealth and Bagong Silangan to the north, Barangay Holy Spirit to the west, Barangay Matandang Balara to the south, and the town of San Mateo, Rizal to the east.
The Sandiganbayan of the Philippine government is also located there.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to Apply for Barangay ID

  1. Secure an ID Application Form from the Barangay Hall.

  2. Fill out and present to the barangay staff the accomplished application form.

  3. Provide one (1) 1x1 or 2x2 ID photo and which must:

    • be taken within the last 6 months (to reflect your current appearance);

    • bear a plain white or light-colored background;

    • be taken in full-face view directly facing the camera; and,

    • reflect you wearing a polo shirt or a blouse with collar.

  4. Pay for the corresponding ID fee at the Cashier's Office:

    • 3-day processing for only PhP 50.00

    • 1-day processing for only PhP 100.00

How to Secure Barangay Clearance

  1. Get an endorsement from your Purok Leader or Subdivision/Village President.

  2. Fill out the information form accurately at the Barangay Hall.

  3. Pay for the corresponding Barangay Clearance fee at the Cashier's Office.

  4. Picture-taking or image capturing of applicant will follow.

  5. Sign the Clearance Form after the validation of information.
